WhatsApp lleva meses pisando el acelerador. Hace unos dias se sabía que eliminaba la cuota anual, pasando a ser completamente gratuito. Pero esa no va a ser la mayor novedad de la compañia de Zuckerberg en este año 2016 ya que las noticias de WhatsApp se suceden casi a diario. Grandes mejoras en privacidad y seguridad, desactivar nuestras cuenta temporalmente sin necesidad de borrarla del todo, o las tan esperadas videollamadas son sólo algunas de las cosas de las que podremos disfrutar en las próximas semanas.
Además, cada vez tardan menos en llegar las mejoras y novedades a todos los sistemas y adetándose a las mejoras de hardware de cada dispositivo, cosa que durante un tiempo no se cuidó tanto. Hoy vamos a comentar algunas de las novedades que están por llegar en este 2016 para nuestros queridos Iphone.
Novedades de WhatsApp para Iphone en 2016
Son muchas las novedades que llegarán durante los próximos meses y seguro que algunas que aún no se conocen. Vamos a hacer una pequeña lista de las que a nuestro criterio son las más esperadas y relevantes.
En Seguridad
- Se añadirá cifrado punto a punto en los chats, grupos y listas de difusión.
- Se podrá proteger las conversaciones punto a punto con contraseña.
- Nueva verificación en las llamadas y chats punto a punto.
Mejoras de funcionalidad y diseño
- Se ha mejorado el soporte para Icloud
- Se podrán enviar documentos (PDF, Excell, Word, Diapositivas…)
- Llegarán las nuevas videollamadas que ya llevan semanas probando y de las que se filtraron algunas imagenes.
- Se podrán importar y exportar documentos desde sistemas de hostings de archivos (Dropbox, Drive…).
- Mejoras en el diseño para sistemas superiores a IOS 6.
- Nueva pestaña de “Enlaces”, similar a la de favoritos, donde tendremos disponibles todos los enlaces que se han compartido en las conversaciones.
- Mejoras y novedades en el uso de 3D Touch.
También serán eliminados todas las referencias a los pagos y se añadirá una opción para compartir nuestros datos con Facebook.
Como decíamos al principio, solo es un pequeño avance centrado en algunas cosas concretas para Apple y su Iphone. La gente de WhatsApp se ha propuesto este año competir cara a cara con sus competidores y, aunque en la actualidad ya son la empresa número uno de mensajeria, no dar opción a que la gente se cambie a otras aplicaciones con la excusa de hacer algo que con la suya no se pueda hacer. Parece que 2016 será un año movido en la mensajeria móvil.
